A reclusive shaman seeks a worthy successor and targets a young man, Jack, who bears a resemblance to Tom Cruise. To persuade him, the shaman kidnaps Jack's girlfriend. Jack reluctantly joins the shaman, using magic and mind control to recruit their neighbors and friends. However, Jack's friend Paul is the only one who can thwart their sinister plans.
