In 1865, Confederate soldiers are forced to cross a minefield by the 44th Union Army. A young boy, Jeremy, uses his mysterious ability to revive his mother after she steps on a landmine. Years later, a rookie platoon is training in the same area when they're attacked by zombies, and a soldier finds a way to stop them.
