Terkel's life takes a dramatic turn after he inadvertently causes the death of a girl who had a crush on him, following a hurtful comment. His already chaotic family dynamics, including a pesky little sister, a stoic father, and a mother's eccentric outbursts, are further complicated by his best friend's withdrawal and death threats from a stalker.
