Maxim, an idealistic Nova, and his Corebot friends flee their home to escape the ruthless pursuit of his own people. As Maxim learns more about the corruption in his society, he begins to question the Novas' motives and sees parallels between their actions and the very corruption they accuse the Corebots of. Torn between loyalty to his people and his growing understanding of the Corebots, Maxim must make a difficult choice.
