Vera Cruz

In the aftermath of the American Civil War, a group of mercenaries venture to Mexico to fight in their revolution for financial gain. Former soldier and gentleman Benjamin Trane crosses paths with notorious gunman Joe Erin and his crew, who are hired by Emperor Maximillian and the Marquis Henri de Labordere to escort Countess Marie Duvarre to the harbor of Vera Cruz. As they journey together, they discover a hidden stash of three million U.S. dollars in gold beneath the stagecoach seats, sparking a plan to steal it. However, their initial intentions are soon altered by a series of betrayals and unexpected events.
