In this comedy, a wisecracking waitress named Rose is courted by two policemen, Bob and Herman, who both try to win her attention. The competition ends when the diner is robbed, but Bob's quick thinking allows him to capture the thief and give Herman the credit. As Herman helps Bob apply to the motorcycle force, he becomes even more frustrated when a high-society woman falls for Bob. Meanwhile, Rose becomes embroiled in a scheme involving a fake foreign prince and a refrigerator manufacturer.
