In 1984, Hong Kong's future was uncertain after the Sino-British Joint Declaration was signed. Amidst this uncertainty, a group of 10 young baseball players formed the first Hong Kong youth baseball team, the Shatin Martins. Despite being humiliated by defeat after defeat, the team's faith in themselves was tested by their strong rival, the Japanese Buffalo. However, the hardship only fueled their bravery, and they eventually overcame their struggles, growing together with their city and igniting their glory with every game. The story culminates in a thrilling final game.
