Native American culture has long believed in the evil spirit of the wendigo, a cannibalistic entity that takes possession of those who engage in cannibalism, driving them to crave human flesh. In Northern Pennsylvania, a sheriff and a traveling physician investigate a gruesome crime scene, only to uncover a trail of mutilated bodies and relentless hitmen. As they navigate the danger, they must also confront the terrifying wendigo and find a way to destroy it.
