A mischievous baby kangaroo, Hippety Hopper, escapes from a crate at the Zoo Office and accidentally invades the home of Sylvester Cat and his son Junior. The cat, mistaking Hippety for a giant mouse, suffers a series of comedic beatings at the hands of the playful kangaroo. Junior is embarrassed by his father's antics and tries to hide his shame by covering his head with a paper bag.
