In present-day Okinawa, a young amnesiac girl named Saya fights against shape-shifting vampires, while seeking her roots and uncovering the secrets of her mysterious past with the help of her supportive adopted family and friends.
In a covert struggle, humans are pitted against Chiropterans, shape-shifting creatures that feed on human blood and blend seamlessly into human society. A secretive organization, the Red Shield, is dedicated to combating these bloodthirsty beings. At the heart of the conflict is Saya Otonashi, a high school student plagued by amnesia, who is about to discover her true identity and purpose.
