A young Chinese woman, disguised as a boy, embarks on a perilous journey to find her missing father by joining a Rocky Mountain railroad crew, only to discover a forbidden attraction to the son of the railroad tycoon.

James Nichol is sent by his father to Hong Kong to manage the recruitment of Chinese laborers for a Canadian Rockies railroad project. He returns with Little Tiger, a young woman who disguises herself as a boy to secure better work opportunities, driven to find her missing father in Canada.
