A chronically ill individual, confined to their home, is showered with care and attention from a diverse group of volunteers. However, they take advantage of the situation, exploiting the good intentions of these helpers. The volunteers, including a boyfriend who lacks masculinity, are unsuspecting of the individual's manipulative nature. The situation escalates when the individual abandons their girlfriend, who is easily swayed, to the mercy of the ineffectual boyfriend.
