Young George Washington, skilled in math and numbers, becomes a surveyor to support his family. He inherits his half-brother Lawrence's land and home at Mount Vernon. Elected to the Continental Congress, Washington is named commander of the Continental Army after fighting breaks out between England and the colonies. Initially unsure, he accepts the Commission and rallies his troops, leading them to victory after surprising the British across the Delaware River. Despite challenges, Washington inspires his soldiers, thwarting a plan to remove him and keeping his men motivated until the French arrive, securing victory at Yorktown and ensuring the nation's survival.
