Apeth

A man becomes enthralled by a painting reproduction in a coffee table book, leading to an unexpected and all-consuming fascination that extends beyond the confines of the artwork.

A man named Sven is fascinated by a painting called Allegory, Boy Lighting Candle in Company of Ape and Fool (Fábula) by El Greco. He receives an email from a sexual partner asking if they can meet tonight, and they make plans. Meanwhile, a woman is doing laundry when her son Pierrot bursts in and takes her phone, excitedly revealing that Sven has invited him over for the night. Later, Pierrot and Sven spend the evening smoking dope and enjoying the sexual tension, before the doorbell rings and an ape joins them.
