A determined social worker, Shoba T. Mathur, and a young housewife, Saanvri, fight against child marriage and social evils in a small village in Rajasthan. When Saanvri's efforts incur the wrath of village elders, she faces brutal gang-rape and her husband, Sohan, is severely beaten. As they seek justice, they encounter a corrupt police force and judicial system, where wealth, influence, and caste often prevail over the rule of law.
