Sir Maddox, a knight returning from the Crusades, finds his village and family destroyed by unknown attackers. He decides to avenge his family and village by tracking down the attackers. After falling into a lake and almost drowning, he is saved by a mysterious beautiful maiden in white who is a prisoner of the evil knight Black Angel. Despite her warnings, Sir Maddox vows to free her and eventually tracks down Black Angel with the help of a shady peasant, learning the true nature of the feared knight.
