The film is an adaptation of Hiroito's autobiography, telling the story of the King of Boca do Lixo, a notorious region in downtown São Paulo in the 1950s. Hiroito, a well-born bohemian, was accused of murdering his father at 21, but was not charged. Two months later, he bought guns and moved to Boca do Lixo, becoming one of its most feared criminals.
