Happy, the latest movie star, unexpectedly rose to fame after being born to single mother Susie Seabrook, a commissary waitress who was pregnant with him when screenwriters Bob Laws and J.C. Benson came up with a story for a movie. The film's success led to a series of problems, including finding a husband for Susie and a father for Happy.
