A struggling screenwriter is commissioned to write a new movie script by a producer who has ulterior motives, including a romantic interest in the writer's wife. As the writer becomes more invested in his work, his wife begins to feel increasingly neglected and resentful, suspecting her husband is using their relationship to further his own career.
