Inspired by a hit song, this movie tells the story of Tony, a pianist in a 1948 bar, who falls for Lola, an aspiring performer. They both find fame at Manhattan's Copacabana lounge, but fate takes a turn when Lola is whisked away to Havana to star in a high-profile nightclub act. There, she meets Rico, a charismatic gangster who runs the club.
