During the Great Depression, a family's fortunes are wiped out, leaving them with only their yacht. To make ends meet, they decide to rent it out to others. Two sympathetic men take pity on the young woman, who's lost everything but her dignity, and organize a Monte Carlo night on the yacht. Unbeknownst to her, they manipulate the roulette wheel to ensure the house wins.
