Three childhood friends, Shing, Ka-Lok, and Adam, reunite in Hong Kong as adults and embark on separate journeys of self-discovery. Adam, a managing director at a big bank, reconnects with Julie, a bored socialite, while Shing forms a connection with Linda, a rich divorcee. Meanwhile, Ka-Lok, a literature teacher, searches for his long-lost father and finds solace with a mainland student, Snowy.
