A troupe of performers, led by Dan Dixon, becomes stranded in Paraguay while traveling in a trailer. Their plans to play in Don Luis Garcia's theaters are put on hold when Garcia recognizes Dan as the man responsible for a messy incident on the highway that caused him trouble. Complications ensue when a local outlaw, Sancho Ramirez, falls for one of the showgirls, Charlita.
