Wendy, a German woman, is trapped in a mundane life with her husband Lars and son Karl. She works at a fast-food restaurant, is under therapy, and struggles with debt. After encountering a mysterious beggar named Marek, Wendy discovers she has superhuman strength and begins to transform her life. Her friend Elmar, a comic book enthusiast, also develops electrical powers and becomes Eletroman. However, Elmar's newfound abilities soon lead him down a dark path of crime.
