In this movie, Satan is thrilled with his job as the ruler of hell, where he's feared and respected by his minions. After 6,000 years, he's invited back to heaven, expecting a hero's welcome. However, he's in for a surprise when he discovers it's actually an invitation to Christ's Second Coming-out party. Feeling left out and betrayed, Satan decides he misses heaven and wants back in. He sets out to re-earn God's respect, revealing a surprising vulnerability and desire to be welcomed back.
