A pair of local villains, Blue and Yebsum, attempt a routine break-in at a farmhouse, but things quickly go awry, resulting in Yebsum's death at the hands of the elderly farmer. Blue, now at the mercy of the farmer and his wife, undergoes a transformation and settles into a new life as "son" and heir apparent to the farm, leaving his life of crime behind.
