A radio station on the brink of bankruptcy is rescued by a wealthy investor who demands that the owner's daughter, Annabelle, perform on TV. However, Annabelle's singing voice is dubbed by the owner's girlfriend, Pat Abbott, to conceal her own voice. Complications arise when the owner starts dating Annabelle, leading to a tangled web of relationships.
