In this hilarious comedy, a voice teacher named Shemp is desperate to inherit a fortune, but only if he marries before 6pm. Despite his best efforts, no one wants to marry him, until one of his unappealing students agrees at the last minute. Just as they're about to exchange vows, a group of other prospective brides show up, causing chaos and confusion. In the end, Shemp marries his student, only to discover that there's no inheritance to speak of - it was all a ruse by his friends Moe and Larry, who had tricked him into marrying their shrewish sisters as revenge.
