In São Paulo, 2007, a dogcatcher named Santana lives a peaceful life, avoiding trouble and violence. However, his world is turned upside down when he catches a large dog in a school, only to have its owner, a sociopathic ex-cop named Babyface, demand its return. The dog is put to sleep due to the law, but Babyface's anger and accusations against Santana escalate the situation, altering Santana's life forever.
