A 16-year-old girl from an inner-city London flat gets involved with an older boyfriend who convinces her to help him rob a lonely man. After they leave the man unconscious, the girl realizes the gravity of their actions and flees, eventually returning to her own flat. There, she meets the man's young daughter, and despite feeling a connection with her, decides to leave the girl behind and continue on her own path.
