The movie follows the lives of four teenagers, Dean, Stevie, Tina, and Kelley, over the course of three days. Dean is struggling to find his place in the world and define what it means to be a man, as he's torn between his desire to fit in with his peers and his longing for his lost childhood. Stevie's girlfriend Tina is impatient for her future and unsure of what she wants, while Kelley is smart and studious but struggling to find her place in the world. The movie explores the different paths these characters take as they navigate the challenges of late adolescence and discover their own identities.
