Two children, Otti and Aguti, fall in love during Uganda's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) insurgency. Otti is abducted at 11, but tries to escape and is eventually forced to join the LRA rebels. He becomes close to notorious leader Joseph Kony, but remains devoted to Aguti. When Aguti is abducted and taken as Kony's wife, Otti is tasked with protecting her, torn between loyalty and love.
