In Uganda's Kigezi district, the Bakiga people undertake a bold initiative to till their land, a region shared with the Pygmies. Jonathan, a well-educated villager and son of the chief, participates in his community's efforts to establish new farms.

In this drama, a group of the Bakiga people in Uganda's Kigezi district attempt to cultivate the land, which is home to the Pygmies. Jonathan, an educated clerk and son of the village chief, joins the effort, but after being injured by buffaloes, he forms an unlikely friendship with some Pygmies. However, his own people are wary of his new acquaintances.
