A widower, Janaradhan, has devoted his life to raising his two children, Chirag and Gaurav. When they grow up, Gaurav takes on the responsibility of managing the household and their business alongside his father. He's fiercely protective and often clashes with his father, even locking him up when his friend Madhav, a divorcee seeking a new partner, gets out of hand. Gaurav's life takes a turn when he receives prank calls from his old college friend, Sheekha Kapoor, and they discover that his father has a past with her guardian, Anuradha. Gaurav decides to help his father rekindle his lost love and, in the process, finds his own soulmate in Sheekha.
