In 1978, Kim Hyun-Soo, a teenager addicted to Bruce Lee, moves to KangNam, Seoul, and enrolls in JungMoon High School. He befriends Kim Woo-Sik, another Bruce Lee fan, and Hamburger, who often brings adult magazines to school. Hyun-Soo becomes infatuated with Kang Eun-Ju, a female Bruce Lee fan who shares his musical tastes.
