Dominick, a respected teacher of temporal observers, is tasked with finding a missing student who has gone back in time to emulate his exploits. His search reunites him with his former lover Jane and allows him to meet his son for the first time. However, matters become complicated when Dominick and Jane quarrel and he decides to use his time machine to revisit the previous day to repair the rift.
