Popeye receives a prestigious award for his 20-year film career at a star-studded dinner hosted by Bob Hope. However, instead of giving a speech, Popeye surprises the audience by screening clips from his movies. Bluto grows increasingly frustrated, culminating in him stealing Popeye's trophy and placing it on his head. But little does Bluto know, the trophy is filled with spinach, and Popeye uses it to take down his nemesis.
