Martin Blaine, a special effects makeup artist, seeks anger management therapy after a violent outburst on set. He visits a hypnotist, but soon after, his estranged mother passes away under mysterious circumstances. As Martin returns to his hometown, a series of brutal murders occurs, with the victims connected to him. The local Sheriff suspects Martin, and he begins to believe he's responsible, as his nightmares seem to mirror the attacks.
