In the midst of the 1999 Cricket World Cup, Salim, a drug dealer, is torn between his loyalty to his girlfriend Anita and his obligation to repay a 6,000-pound debt to his supplier Davar. When Davar demands immediate repayment, Salim tries to sell the drugs but loses them to the police.
