A notorious outlaw, Jeff Larson, escapes from prison and wreaks havoc in the countryside around Red Rock, targeting a group of female musicians stranded near his hideout and a ranch owned by his identical cousin, Terry Larson. As Jeff's cousin, Terry, falls for Carolina, a member of the troupe, Jeff plots to kill his cousin and take over the ranch, but his plan is foiled when one of his henchmen mistakenly kills him, thinking he's Terry.
