In the Wild West, a troubled teenager named Michael "Mike" Blueberry is sent to live with his rugged uncle. With no clear direction, Mike's life takes a turn after a close call with a deadly encounter in a brothel. Left for dead in the desert, Mike is found and nursed back to health by a Chiricahua medicine man and his family. When the medicine man passes away, Mike returns to his uncle's town and becomes an honest deputy marshal. However, gold fever strikes, and rival gangs begin to terrorize the town, using staged Indian brutalities to justify their invasion of sacred Apache lands.
