Rogue of the Rio Grande

In the scorching Mexican desert, notorious outlaw El Malo takes Mayor Seth Landport captive, threatening to release him only if a hefty ransom of 2,000 pesos is paid.

El Malo, a notorious Mexican bandit, forces the Mayor of Sierra Blanca to hand over 2,000 pesos and receives a promissory note in return. The bandit's presence sets off a chain of events, including a reward for his capture and a romantic encounter with a dancer named Carmita. El Malo later visits the sheriff, promising to deliver the wanted bandit to the cantina the following night. The next day, El Malo and his sidekick Pedro discover the leader of a group of outlaws is actually the town Mayor, Seth. El Malo arranges a meeting with Seth at the cantina that night, amidst a web of deceit and revenge.
