Rubí

A treacherous woman named Rubi orchestrates a shocking betrayal by stealing her friend's fiancé, leading to a dramatic confrontation at her own wedding in New York, where her sister unleashes her wrath with a powerful curse and a slap.

Rubi, a cunning woman, steals her friend Maribel's fiancé and marries him in New York. However, her happiness is short-lived as her husband becomes disabled in an accident caused by her reckless behavior. The couple returns to Mexico City, where they seek help from an old friend, Dr. Alejandro del Valle, who has since become wealthy and handsome. As Dr. Alejandro treats her husband, Rubi begins to manipulate him, using her charm to get close to him. But when she discovers that Dr. Alejandro has feelings for her, she becomes obsessed with him and demands that he kill her husband. The situation escalates, and Rubi finds herself at the mercy of Dr. Alejandro, who tries to strangle her. She flees and falls from the seventh floor of the Regis Hotel, landing on the pavement. In the hospital, Rubi invents a new lie, blaming Dr. Alejandro for the accident, and uses it as a pretext to see him again. As she lies dying, she asks Dr. Alejandro to remove her bandages, revealing her disfigured face, and apologizes for playing with the men in her life.
