A grumpy elderly man's perspective is altered forever when he's unexpectedly visited by enigmatic holiday apparitions.
Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man, despises Christmas, abhors people, and defends the reduction of the poor population. He exploits his employee Bob Cratchit and clients, treating them with bitterness. On Christmas Eve, the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley appears, warning Scrooge that three spirits will visit him that night.
