The Black Corsair, Emilio di Roccabruna, seeks revenge against Van Gould, who had killed his father and stolen his family's properties ten years prior. With his two brothers, the Green Corsair and the Red Corsair, he initially fights back, but they are betrayed and killed by Van Gould's men. Meanwhile, the Black Corsair saves an Indian village from the Spaniards, but only manages to rescue Yara. He then teams up with Morgan to orchestrate his revenge against Van Gould.
