Jim Cleve, a cowhand, is wrongly accused of murder and taken in by Jack Kells and his group of Idaho outlaws, the Border Legion. However, when the Legion captures Joan Randall and leaves Cleve to watch over her, he begins to question his allegiance to the group and decides to take matters into his own hands to rescue her.
