In this movie, Naana, a Ghanaian woman, seeks a permanent residence in America to care for her ailing mother back home. Initially, she entered the country on a non-immigrant visa, but now needs a legal document to stay. As she searches for help, she becomes pregnant and makes the difficult decision to abort the baby in order to continue her quest for the document. However, her actions ultimately lead to a supernatural reckoning in the form of an angry, vengeful spirit that targets Naana and those who assisted in the abortion.
