Two corrupt villagers, Tirpat Singh and MLA Durga Pandey, manipulate the rural Indian village for their own gain. They target two brothers, Abhay and Vinay, and their wives, Chandravati and Ketki. The brothers' father is left to care for Chandravati while Abhay becomes an ascetic, and Vinay's construction business is swindled. Vinay discovers the truth about Tirpat and Durga, but is killed in broad daylight, leaving Ketki as the only witness.
