In this 1963 comedy, Henry Limpet, a bookkeeper with a passion for the Navy, is rejected due to his physical limitations. After a freak accident at Coney Island, he's transformed into a fish and embarks on a new life under the sea, befriending Ladyfish and Crusty. As a fish, Henry uses his newfound abilities to aid the US Navy in hunting down and sinking Nazi U-Boats, forcing the Germans to develop a countermeasure. Years later, the Navy discovers intelligent dolphin activity, leading them to suspect Henry's involvement in teaching them.
