Dick Turpin, a notorious highwayman, marries Joyce Greene and abandons his life of crime to live a respectable life. However, his mother-in-law exposes his true identity, prompting him to reunite with his old partner Tom King and uncover a plot by Lord Willoughby to harm King George. But his plans are foiled by a jealous accomplice, and Turpin must ride 200 miles from London to York to protect his wife.
